Seeing From (T)Here는 안무가 Maayan Danoch와 뉴미디어 아티스트 조영각의 콜라보레이션으로 만들어진 인스톨레이션 작업이다.

이 작업에는 인체와 기술 기반의 AI(인공지능)이라는 매우 정교하고 지능적인 두 독립체가 포함되어 있고, 이 둘의 상호작용에 기반을 두고 있다.

두 독립체는 신체의 움직임 또는 투영되는 시각적 이미지를 통해 그들 주변 환경을 인지-해석하고 행동-반응 한다.

안무가 소개

Maayan Danoch는 이스라엘 출신의 안무가/무용수/교사로 베를린에서 활동 중이다. 그녀는 춤과 안무를 창작자/퍼포머가 가지는 생각의 구조를 드러내는 것에 관련시키고, 미묘한 안무적 선택을 통해 어떻게 인식이 형성되고 변형 될 수 있는지 살펴보는 작업을 주로 하고 있다.

Maayan은 극장, 전시장, 야외 공간에서 올려지는 무용과 다원예술 작품 작업을 하고 있으며, 유럽/이스라엘/호주 등 다양한 무용학교, 무용센터 등에서 정기적인 워크숍을 이끌어가고 있다.

SEAD(Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance)에서 현대무용과 안무를 공부했고, HfMT(Hochschule für Musik und Tanz) Köln 에서 무용 석사를 마쳤다.

Seeing From (T)Here is an installation work created by a collaboration between choreographer Maayan Danoch and new media artist Cho Young-gak.

This work includes two very sophisticated and intelligent entities, the human body and technology-based AI (Artificial Intelligence), and is based on the interaction between the two.

The two entities perceive-interpret and act-react the surrounding environment through the body’s movement or projected visual image.

Introduction of choreography.

Maayan Danoch is an Israeli choreographer/dancer/teacher working in Berlin. She mainly works to relate dance and choreography to revealing the structure of thoughts that creators/performers have, and to see how perceptions can be formed and transformed through subtle choreographic choices.

Maayan works on dance and interdisciplinary arts in theaters, exhibition halls, and outdoor spaces, and leads regular workshops in various dance schools and dance centers such as Europe/Israel/Australia.

He studied contemporary dance and choreography at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD), and completed his master’s degree in dance at HfMT (Hochschule für Musik und Tanz) Köln.
