속담은 인간의 삶에서 반복적으로 경험되고 증명되며 탄생한, 가장 오래된 지혜다. 그렇기에 우리 모두는 속담 한 줄에서 지난 기억 속 삶을 뒤돌아 보는 한 장면을 발견할 수 있다. 이 작품에서는 한국 속담 5개와 영미권 속담 5개를 텍스트 프롬프트(명령어)로 변환하고, 생성 인공지능 중 텍스트 기반의 프롬프트 엔지니어링(stable diffusion, Lora model, gen-2, etc)으로 구성하였다. 이 과정은 각 한 개의 속담을 두고 AI를 통해, 각기 다른 다양한 재해석을 시도한다. 인간의 오랜 지혜인 속담을 AI가 이해하고 해석한 이미지들을를 통해 우리는 삶의 어느 한 장면을 보다 생생히 바라보는 경험을 하게 될 것이다.
Proverbs are the oldest form of wisdom, born out of the repeated experience and proof of human life. Therefore, we can all find a scene from our past life in a line of proverbs. In this work, 5 Korean proverbs and 5 English proverbs were converted into text prompts (commands), and composed of text-based prompt engineering (stable diffusion, Lora model, gen-2, etc.) during generative artificial intelligence. This process takes one proverb each and tries different interpretations through AI. You’ll experience a scene from your life more vividly with images that are interpreted by artificial intelligence and understand the proverbial wisdom of the ages.
